Influence Decisions (CIB)
| Who we Are The Community Involvement Board is, very simply, the seat at the decision making table for the voluntary, community and faith sectors. The CIB is set up to lobby, communicate and champion the voice of these groups during the decision making process. |

In Thurrock we have something called the Shaping Thurrock Partnership. This partnership is made up from all organisations that provide a public service and spend Thurrock tax payers’ money. They come together to make sure that between them they are providing the best quality and most efficient services to our residents. The CIB is part of this partnership and is tasked with voicing the issues and views of the voluntary, community and faith sector at this level. We have two sub-groups we use to deliver our objectives- the CEG and the CMG

How Can You Get Involved The CIB is made up from 15 representatives of the Voluntary, Community and Faith sector who meet every two months to discuss our Sectors priorities. |
We are there to represent the views of voluntary, community and faith groups so therefore if you have any issues you would like the CIB to take forward them please get in touch via the contact us page or the CIB’s “You Ask, We Answer” form.
We also hold wider meetings which are open to public where residents can come along and meet directly with service providers and discuss issues.
