Take Part Pathfinder

The Take Part Pathfinder project is a Government funded scheme to encourage local people to take part in a variety of voluntary, communityy and democratic roles. This scheme also enables people to take part through providing training opportunities and support to place people in a variety of opportunities.

This section of the site is all about providing information on what is going on in Thurrock whether they are: Events, Opportunities or Training programmes.

Do you wonder why services are run in a certain way, or why organisations make the decisions they do? Do you feel you have something to offer your community and want to get more involved?

There are many ways you can ‘take part’ from joining discussion forums or campaigning on local issues, to becoming a school governor or volunteering to start a football club. Local residents have a wide range of skills to offer, and your ideas and opinions are very important. There is plenty of free training and support available to help people get more involved, and many opportunities offer out of pocket expenses.
