Take Part Pathfinder
Do you wonder why services are run in a certain way, or why organisations make the decisions they do? Do you feel you have something to offer your community and want to get more involved?
There are many ways you can ‘take part’ from joining discussion forums or campaigning on local issues, to becoming a school governor or volunteering to start a football club. Local residents have a wide range of skills to offer, and your ideas and opinions are very important. There is plenty of free training and support available to help people get more involved, and many opportunities offer out of pocket expenses.
Take Part in Thurrock is managed by Thurrock Council. It forms part of the Take Part Pathfinder programme which is funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government and managed by the Community Development Foundation.
